We couldn’t ask for better people to put this race in the hands of. NeoMustangs and Hanlon Motorsports are Fox people through and through. They build them, race them, break them, fix them, and know what it takes to make them go fast. They’re bringing that real-world Fox racing and performance experience to help us launch the very first Top Fox Shootout.

This is year one, so we’re throwing some things at the wall and seeing what sticks. Please pack your patience and flexibility in your tool bag next to your duct tape and zip ties.

Yes, there’s money on the table, but this is still about having fun, racing Foxes, and building community more than anything else.

Top Fox Shootout racers will also need to be registered for the Foxtoberfest car show. We want the cars and racers you see at the track to be part of the greater Fox community too, giving everyone a chance to see the cars up close, meet the drivers, and put faces with the names.

A NOTE ABOUT TRACK CONDITIONS

We’ll be running everything from street cars to outlaw cars on the same surface, so track prep and grip will change throughout the event. Mixing cars at very different performance levels can change the surface quickly, so come prepared to make adjustments as conditions evolve.

We’re keeping this first year fun, flexible, and a little experimental. If you’ve got a Fox and want to come play, this is your shot.

And in keeping with Foxtoberfest’s inclusive spirit, the Top Fox Shootout is open to any vehicle built on the ’78–’93 Fox platform, regardless of what’s under the hood.
